Motion Designer/Animator

Are you a highly collaborative and forward-thinking Multimedia Creator who is passionate about learning and technology? The Tactical Communications Multimedia Training team is looking for you for a fast paced creative internship this summer. We create a variety of innovative customer support and interactive e-learning content related to tactical radio products, features, and the science/technology that makes it all work. Join our fun, creative, and ridiculously talented team to be a part of developing innovative next-generation learning experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

•    Create 3D training scenarios for videos and other interactive content
•    Collaborate with team members, internal customers, and subject matter experts 
•    Transform complex technical concepts into modern animations, 2D graphics and storyboards
•    Edit instructional video 
•    Develop new and inventive ways of applying visual design, animation and graphic design into the integration of new media applications to promote customer support and engagement

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in animation, motion design, interactive design, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
• Experience developing graphic and video assets based on established storyboards
• Knowledge of or experience with Animate, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Unreal Engine or other graphics programs
• Coursework in Storyboarding, Creative Writing, UX/UI Design, Illustrator, PhotoShop
• Character rigging and expression work
• Proven competency in layout design for a wide variety of platforms (web, mobile, print)
• Demonstrated forward thinking related to responsive design and its impact on layout design
• Experience creating engaging content while working within company brand guidelines
• Experience creating content for social media
• Military Communications and/or HAM Radio experience a plus

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state $18.00 - $36.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
