Job Description:

 

In this role, you will be responsible for testing boards, modules, and units, making critical data-based decisions, and collaborating with Leads and Test Engineering to ensure optimal station functionality and high yields. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our quality standards and driving continuous improvement. This position involves a fast-paced environment, collaborative teamwork and achieving results-based goals.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature
  • Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts
  • Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches
  • Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
  • Uses Microsoft Office programs
  • Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
  • Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment
  • Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
  • Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).
  • Able to transport up to 25 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years prior experience

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Currently enrolled in an electrical technician degree program 
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory 
  • Associates degree (technical discipline)  
  • Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Experience 
  • Experience with Harris RFCD products and assembly processes 
  • Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests 
  • Familiar with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers 
  • Able to read and understand schematic diagrams 
  • MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Unicam knowledge a plus) 
  • Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment 

  

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $36,920- $63,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
