Job Description:
The Finance Analyst is a key member of the Global Operations Finance Team. This role will support the Tactical Communications (TCOM) Operations team by providing key financial analysis, insights, and variance explanations contributing to the success of financial performance. The Finance Analyst will support business process improvement/cost reduction teams ensuring that initiatives are financially viable. The Finance Analyst must be proactive, a self-starter, and solutions focused.
Essential Functions:
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for the Focus Factory management team. Includes forecasting and analysis of departmental expenses, capital and headcount capacity.
- Prepare/deliver monthly financial reviews and performs adhoc analysis as required.
- Review, analyze and provide explanation for operational efficiency metrics.
- Manage TCOM Mfg Operations Capital - Prepare Input files and request updates from OPS functional teams; Conduct AOP and quarterly Capital Plan Review meetings w/ TCOM OPS leadership & teams; etc.
- Investigate production variances as well as understanding the impact to inventory and cost of sales.
- Drive an initiative to close out aging work orders.
- Manage the Key Product Process by supporting a cross functional team with forecasting of quarterly product cost.
- Provide support to manufacturing cost reduction teams to ensure initiatives are financially viable.
- Support internal & external audit requirements as needed.
- Provide ad hoc financial support & analysis as needed.
- Finance support during annual AOP process for Operations.
- Prepare/deliver monthly financial reviews and performs adhoc analysis as required.
- Provide ad hoc financial support & analysis as needed by the organization.
Basic Qualificiations:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Manufacturing finance experience.
- Experience with Oracle Manufacturing System, PeopleSoft Financials, or related business intelligence systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $56,500 - $105,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
