Job Description:

 

The Program Manager directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, Statements of Work, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts. Act as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops strategic roadmaps that align with customer roadmaps to expand the business. Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas. Leads competitive and sole source pursuits and proposals. This position will be supporting the Exquisite Imaging Solutions Business Area in the Space Superiority & Imaging Division.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Responsible for managing and driving key performance indicators of cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of complex technical programs through the life-cycle phases of development, implementation, and operations to meet and exceed revenue and profit goals
• Maintain an integrated master schedule, managing development and test to a technical baseline, and keep an active and proactive risk management program
• Manage portfolio/programs, potentially including IRADs/CRADs/proposals, delivering performance measured against cost and schedule indicators
• Develop technology roadmaps to achieve the business vision
• Operate in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment to align future program roadmaps with customer direction
• Prepare proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts
• Drive program strategy and growth plans; support capture management efforts of additional scope and support technology roadmap and investment plans
• Responsible for budget management and financial execution of programs; ensure programs are executing within compliance with specifications, performance requirements, schedules, cost commitments, and internal policies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvements in operations performance to improve customer satisfaction, reduce project schedules, lower costs, and increase quality
• Active communication with key stakeholders (internal and external, including customers and vendors)
• Display active leadership engagement; establish an accepting culture and strong team engagement and rapport
• Proactive communication with the team, direct reports (if applicable), and leadership Ability to communicate across levels of the organization, including the creation and presentation of briefings to executive leaders
• Implement strategic goals in alignment with the Business Area/Division roadmap Define long-term business strategy to expand upon current efforts
• Provide leadership in the creation and maintenance of robust Customer and Subcontractor relationships Partner with Business Development, Sales, and Marketing functions to nurture productive relations, collect the appropriate market and customer intelligence, and formulate strategies in pursuit, sales, and marketing campaigns

 

Qualifications:

 

Must Have an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree with 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $108,500-$201,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
