Job Description:

 

This Inventory Management Support position in the Stockroom is essential to the manufacturing operations at the L3Harris facility. Candidates must be capable of performing all physical and administrative tasks related to material handling, safety, quality, and parts delivery.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Primary duties include the accurate and timely delivery and transaction of materials from the Stockroom to the Factory, maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and location audits, and selecting and distributing parts using various picking techniques. This role also acts as a liaison between the Stockroom and the Factory, ensuring they have the correct materials on hand when needed.

  • The position involves a mix of hands-on tasks, such as picking, handling, and delivering materials, and computer-based tasks, such as data analysis and decision-making. It requires working in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

  • Candidates should have experience viewing and logging data across various spreadsheets, forms, and web pages, as well as using this data to solve problems and make informed decisions. The Stockroom encompasses a variety of roles, some involving continuous movement across different areas to fulfill the workload, while others may require staying in one location for most of the shift to perform repetitive tasks. Prospective candidates should understand these responsibilities and be confident that, with proper training, they will thrive in this position.

  • Capable of transporting up to 32lbs.
  • Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant inventory experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related inventory experience.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $17.79 - $33.17. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
