Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off   

Job Description: 

• Assist engineers with the design, fabrication, and assembly of prototype parts and mechanical systems.
• Create and update basic 3D CAD models and engineering drawings under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Support hands-on prototyping activities, including 3D printing, component fit checks, and use of basic hand tools.
• Help conduct simple tests, record results, and document design changes and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and explore practical design improvements.

Qualifications: 

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited university. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Basic CAD familiarity 

Pay Transparency: 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $22.50/hr - $41/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
