Job Description:
L3Harris is looking for a highly motivated Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist for the Communication Systems Intermediate Home Office (CS IHO). This individual will support efforts related to the preparation of the weekly & monthly management forecasting and reports, various metrics, and ad hoc segment level requests for presentation to segment leadership. This individual plays a key role communicating with the Sector FP&A Teams and CS Senior Leadership.

Essential Functions:
- Directly supports the CS Segment consolidation for the Monthly Business Review (MBR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Joint Strategic Plan (JSP), and other segment level financial reviews.
- Responsible for consolidating Opportunities and Risks, Key Orders, Sales, General and Administrative (SG&A) expenses for the Monthly Business Reviews (MBR).
- Supports the CS International Sales and Business Development Team, by providing timely information and detailed weekly and monthly reports.
- Responsible for forecasting CS IHO department expenses and reviews current forecasts regularly with the Senior Leadership.
- Supports the Segment CFO with consolidating responses to the Investor Relations Package.
- Performs journal entries and intercompany billings as needed
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills including a service-oriented mindset.
- Actively seek opportunities to streamline assigned processes and cross-train with peers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience in finance or accounting
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Planning (HFM)/SmartView
