Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by supporting our PCB Assembly process across multiple assembly lines and pieces of equipment in our Jefferson Road Operations Center. It is essential that this role works effectively in a cross-functional team environment as well as possessing the ability to be self-sufficient when responding to operational support requests or performing proactive duties. This role will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully maintaining the placement and ancillary equipment used throughout the factory on the weekend shift.
Essential Functions:

Provide support for placement machines, stencil printers, paste inspection and oven equipment to maximize both throughput and quality.

Support Preventative Maintenance schedules and machine capability assessments.

Support equipment troubleshooting and repair for SMT manufacturing equipment.

Initiate, investigate, and institute efficiency improvement opportunities for SMT manufacturing equipment and processes.

Support process ready processes on the weekend shift to help execute operations build plans.

Work closely with other SMT technicians to further understanding of SMT equipment/processes.

Work with PCBA Engineers to identify, investigate and implement solutions to quality and efficiency impactors.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
-
Understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes, technical standards, and assembly and testing equipment (multimeters).

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (software) and processes.

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles like 5S, error proofing, standard work, and quick changeover.

Experience with industrial manufacturing including electro-mechanical assembly.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $51,000 - $94,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
