Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by automating System-level qualification testing of radio products. This role will report directly to a Software Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully qualifying and ensuring that radio products are released with high quality.
Essential Functions:
- Develop C#-based software to operate and test systems of L3Harris products over remote interfaces.
- Participate in the design process for new development of testing software and support applications.
- Triage software failures; review and debug code.
- Report defects and participate in defect review and analysis.
- Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communications, be a self-starter, and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Active DoD security clearance - secret or higher
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Software Test Background
- Background in Agile scrum methodologies
- Networking background with CISCO router experience
- Experience with RF hardware and radio communications equipment; background in Military communications (operation and/or installation) an extra bonus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio, SVN or Git version control, Wireshark.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $73,000 - $136,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
