Job Description:
The Audio Visual (A/V) Streaming Associate, System Administration role is, training, and organizing a team of Coms IT & A/V professionals to support multiple events, seminars, and conference centers. This role involves building and maintaining conference rooms across the enterprise and defining and driving the L3Harris enterprise A/V strategy. The candidate must be adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for presentation needs under high-pressure circumstances and conferences.
Essential Functions:
- Manage IT and A/V hardware responsible for video teleconference communication, audiovisual services, and support enterprise wide.
- Define and develop the next-generation lifecycle based on lessons learned from past and current strategies.
- Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to establish and enforce proper A/V practices and procedures.
- Order, organize, and track A/V equipment and consumables.
- Manage numerous and concurrent conference room build-outs, including QSC, Crestron control, Biamp DSP, and Cisco VTC technologies.
- Understand and coordinate the deployment of Digital Signage and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), including 22Miles & BrightSign.
- Provide customer support and conduct technical training for VTC and A/V systems.
- Manage maintenance and upgrades to conference rooms.
- Conduct asset management for all A/V hardware.
- Manage annual hardware and software maintenance agreements for A/V systems.
- Evaluate new and emerging video collaboration technologies.
- Manage Zoom & Teams live video streaming services.
- Perform root-cause analysis on issues and take corrective actions.
- Collaborate around event and planning readiness while conducting weekly operations meetings to ensure the best event executions.
- Evaluate technical needs and provide appropriate staffing for all events while monitoring daily activities for incidents.
- Attend cross-functional operational meetings and schedule technicians for upcoming events efficiently.
- Complete a full audit of all conference room equipment and their locations, generating data-driven documentation.
- Create proposals for new AV equipment, services, or staffing as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- 2+ years of experience with video conferencing endpoints and infrastructure.

- Ability to prepare and present technical documents and presentations to employees and customers.

- CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D, or Cedia equivalent
- Crestron DMC-T or DMC-E Certification
- SynAudCon Training
- CTI-P101 Foundations of Crestron Programming Certification
- CompTia Network+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Additional certifications or formal training by AV manufacturers (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Dante, Shure, etc.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in NYC areas is $59,500-$110,500. The salary range for this role in New York state, $69,000-$128,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
