Job Description: 

The successful candidate for this RF/Analog Electrical Engineering position will join a team of dedicated professionals who are responsible for supporting state of the art military communication products throughout their lifecycle (from pre-release to obsolescence).   The candidate should be eager to learn, able to problem solve and multitask, and able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. 
 

  • Provide direct support to manufacturing regarding yield improvements, introduction of new board assemblies and products and addressing short term supply disruptions by sourcing and testing alternate components. 
  • Analyze and design circuitry to add new features, mitigate component obsolescence, improve yield, and reduce costs
  • Design and analyze circuits and components utilizing modeling and simulation tools
  • Conduct experiments, evaluate results and present design reviews to peers
  • Troubleshoot units, modules, and boards to the component level

Essential Functions:

  • Hardware troubleshooting ability including analog, RF, and digital circuits
  • Ability to design circuits, read schematics, conduct engineering experiments and act upon results
  • Generate and deliver presentations for various levels of management regarding issues, investigations, improvements, or cost savings in a concise manner
  • Ability to use typical lab equipment: Oscilloscope, DMM, Spectrum & Network analyzers, and signal generators

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field 

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with common commercial RF design and analysis tools to design and analyze RF circuits and systems (i.e. ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW, Python
  • Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
  • Knowledge of RF Device testing and evaluation including s-parameter, large signal load pull characterization as well as modulated signal measurements
  • Experience with MS Office including advanced spreadsheet manipulation and presentation creation

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $61,000 - $113,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
