Job Description: 

  • Performs help desk services providing 24/7 Telephone support for vital equipment and problem resolution/troubleshooting to provide fault isolation and recommended corrective actions 

  • Analyzes technical data, failure analysis reports, and original equipment manufacturing notices to determine/formulate recommendations regarding system sparing, repair cycle venues, failure corrective actions, and sustainable replacement items 

  • Receive, track, document, and store parts in all phases of the repair cycle 

  • Experience or certification as an instructor/trainer 

  • Provides supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storing and transporting 

  • Experience in logistics support, familiarity with logistics practices and processes 

  • Experience using logistics tools and metrics 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, or related Engineering discipline  

Preferred Skills: 

  • Operations, Maintenance, or Logistics experience with fixed site or deployable space operations systems 

  • Experience/familiarity with Solaris program mission area (as an operator/maintainer or as a contractor) 

  • Experience with Raytheon EAGLE integrated logistics support software system 

  • Ability to develop and maintain Logistics Management Information using MIL-PRF-49506 as guidance 

  • Develops maintenance and operations procedures, conducts certification, and supports verification processes for Technical Manuals in accordance with Technical Orders 00-5-1 and 00-5-3. Develops procedures for AFTO Form 22, TCTO, IOS/ISS processes 

  • Develops and presents logistics product technical documentation and training material.  Provides technical training for new and upgraded systems to ensure customers can operate and maintain systems under sustainment 

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to present reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear and concise manner 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

  • Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes and product development 

  • Familiar with DoD and commercial logistics tools and databases: FedLog, WebFLIS, D043, EAGLE as well as various LMI Programs.  Extensive knowledge of LMI/LSA data products 

  • Understanding of drawing and specification hierarchy and development 

  • Familiarity with ASME-Y14.100 and all equivalent guidance pertaining to engineering drawings 

  • Working knowledge of technical order development, content, and change activities 

  • Possess excellent technical skills to understand RMA and Life Cycle Cost modeling 

  • Familiarity with ITAR policies and procedures 

  • Working knowledge of maintenance contracts management and procedures for warranty repairs 

  • Familiarity with electronics equipment maintenance practices and procedures 

  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Supply System (ESS) policies and procedures 

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $43,000 - $80,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
