Job Description:

Support the SAS HR Function in an all-encompassing COE/Special Projects role

Utilize artificial intelligence in day-to-day operations
-
Utilize Microsoft Office tools to analyze data and create presentations for Segment Senior Leadership on a weekly basis
-
Heavy focus on using tools like Excel (macros) and PowerAutomate to increase automation
-
Keep the SAS HR organization up to date on key processes/tools via a monthly HR newsletter
-
Manage SAS HR SharePoint/Teams Channels owning site updates, the process for maintaining and site permissions
-
Responsible for reviewing/updating key HR processes to identify and execute on improvements
-
Support HR Development for the SAS HR Team via special projects and lunch & learns
-
Own process to ensure SAS HR specific policies are reviewed/maintained on a regular cadence
-
Have a strong understanding and knowledge of business analytics to enable and influence leaders to make sound talent decisions and promote employee engagement and healthy/positive/productive employee relations

Partner with client groups to build and execute upon talent plans in achievement of overall business strategy, objectives and goals

Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner

Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned

Promote high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates L3Harris core values
Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent area or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Preferred Additional Skills:

HR generalist experience via 1-2 summer internships, with increasing scope and responsibility

Some experience with Performance Management, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation and Organizational/Management Development

Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching and consulting skills
-
Ability to link situations to the bigger picture; ability to identify root cause and underlying issues
-
Demonstrated attention to detail

Efficiency in MS Office software products like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerAutomate and PowerPoint
-
Ability to work as a solid contributing member of a team as well as operate independently

Effectively interact will all levels of management

Experience working in a matrixed environment

Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $48,500 - $88,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
