Job Description: 

  • Responsible for Tier 1 Security Posture, Incident Detection and Reporting 

  • Monitors security events to identify anomalies and possible incidents within the network 

  • Performs historical analysis of logs associated with security events 

  • Produces well-written reports outlining incident and potential mitigation 

  • Work with other teams to troubleshoot VPN sessions / issues 

  • Handles phone calls from customer 

  • Applies baseline security configurations to network equipment 

Qualifications: 

  •  To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in  Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or Cyber/Information Security or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Information Security experience 

  • Security+ Certification or equivalent certification  

  • Understanding of system vulnerabilities and exploitation 

  • Understanding of vulnerability mitigation 

  • Strong investigative drive 

  • Self-motivated 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

  • Strong listening skills 

  • Must be able to provide on-call support as needed 

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment 

  • Ability to work in a team environment 

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $62,000- $115,000.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
