Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Management (Program Manager) to join our Redmond, WA office. This position will support various missions for NASA, DoD, and Commercial Primes.  This individual will be responsible for management and contract performance of production and/or development programs. They will manage and direct assigned programs, which includes defining and controlling program scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with applicable contractual requirements and L3Harris policies.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Program Leadership: Oversee the development, testing, and integration of propulsion systems for high-profile national aerospace and defense missions
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project stability throughout its lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, customers, government agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with mission objectives
  • Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on propulsion system design, performance, and compliance with national and international standards
  • Earned Value Management (EVM): Utilize EVM techniques to monitor project performance and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and scope objectives
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve mission success
  • Periodic travel as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Background in propulsion systems and aerospace engineering
  • Proficiency in Earned Value Management and risk assessment methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • PMP certification or Project Management certificate
  • Experience with government or national aerospace programs is highly desirable
  • Capability to obtain a security clearance

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of Washington is $104,500 - $193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
