We are seeking a Program Manager to join our Redmond, WA office. This position will support various significant / flagship in-space missions for NASA, DoD, Commercial Primes.  You will be responsible for management and contract performance of production and/or development programs. This individual will manage and direct assigned programs, which includes defining and controlling program scope, overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and L3Harris policies.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Program Leadership: Oversee the development, testing, and integration of propulsion systems for high-profile national aerospace or defense missions.
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project stability throughout its lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, government agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on propulsion system design, performance, and compliance with national and international standards.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM): Utilize EVM techniques to monitor project performance and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and scope objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve mission success.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior program management experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong background in propulsion systems and aerospace engineering.
  • Proficiency in Earned Value Management and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • PMP certification or Project Management certificate
  • Experience with government or national aerospace programs is highly desirable.
  • Capability to obtain a security clearance
  • Periodic travel may be required
