Job Description:

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Specialist, Program Management in Redmond, WA.  This site is the center of excellence for liquid in-space propulsion, responsible for engine design, fabrication, assembly, and test. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs, driving cross-functional teams, and delivering results that align with strategic business objectives. As a Program Manager at L3Harris, you will play a critical role in overseeing development and/or production propulsion programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of development and/or production propulsion programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure successful program execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including schedule and budget.
  • Monitor program performance, track progress, and report on key metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on program status, challenges, and successes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, lessons learned, and innovative solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant program management experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience, or 10 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification or equivalent
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS)

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Washington State is $104,500-$193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
