Job Description:
The Manager, Procurement typically accomplishes results through experienced exempt employees. This position functions as advisor on all projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group.
Essential Functions:
- Provides directions to subordinate direct reports based on general policies and management guidance
- Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational groups
- Recommends modifications to operating policies
- Provides assistance to direct reports in meeting established schedules or to resolve complex administrative or operational problems
- Supervises supply chain and materiel management functional activities ensuring compliance with the Company’s policy, customer requirements and regulations and public laws in expenditure of the Company and government funds · Selects types of contractual arrangements
- Ensures that accurate and timely data is prepared, reviewed and submitted according to internal and external requirements
- Responsible for product cost, schedule, and quality
- Reviews and approves expenditures up to a delegated limit in accordance with policy and public law
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.
- Professional certification(s) in Production and Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Project Management and similar subject matter areas are preferred.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the State of Washington is $100,500 - $186,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
