Job Description:

After orientation and training, new hire will perform entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects. New hires will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects. Interns must be able to operate effectively in a team environment.

In our Redmond, WA, site (Seattle area), we fabricate, assemble, and test chemical and electric thrusters, as well as small scale propulsion systems.  Our electric propulsion systems enable a wide variety of missions from the exploration of our solar system to global communication and the surveillance of severe weather and wild fires.

Projects may focus on areas of project or component engineering including assisting in the successful planning, design, development, production, or qualification of chemical propulsion or electric propulsion systems for spacecraft and launch vehicle applications.

Tasks will vary but may include data collection, entry-level performance analysis, software tool development, trade studies, fabrication support, test monitoring, hardware tracking, assistance with presentations and reports to both external customers and internal staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (or similar major) 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the range for this role is $33.89/hr-$62.25/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
