Job Description:
L3Harris is actively seeking a successful candidate experienced in performing Quality Management related tasks as required in support of engineering, testing, and production for the program. Primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with DCMA INST 8210, CNAF 4790 series, PWS, and GOPs. They will also provide technical assistance and guidance during aircrew de-briefs and perform towing, marshalling, and positioning of aircraft on flight line.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Having Quality Control experience with: P-8, 737, or other relevant aircraft.
- Working knowledge of Navy QAR functions, ASM, CSEC and monitoring programs.
- Being able to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, T.O specs, and engineering specifications.
- Able to assemble close tolerance parts and use common hand tools.
- Able to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, aircraft support equipment and towing vehicles
- Able to climb, including ladders, stairs, and portable stands and navigate these without assistance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Must have a current Secret clearance.
- Must be willing to work any shift, and overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have experience with NALCOMIS Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) and Advanced System Management (ASM) systems
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Must have a functional knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- Able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, odor, and dust.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Working knowledge of Periodic Maintenance Information Cards/Maintenance Requirement Cards.
- Experience in managing/monitoring Navy programs IAW 8210 and 4790.
- Must be an effective communicator and possess strong motivational skill
- Must be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving capabilities
