Job Description:

The ASM Fleet Administrator is responsible for overseeing, controlling, analyzing, reporting on and maintaining all Command Training.  Logs and Records/CTPL Administrator when needed will be responsible for maintaining the CTPL program, and updating, analyzing, and reporting on all Logs and Records in an up-to-date status IAW 4790.2 series, as directed by government contracts. Additionally, there will be some Data Analyst responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Compile and release required reports in accordance with ASM requirements. 
  • Analyze and report any discrepancies within ASM to program POC's as required. Correct discrepancies as required to ensure accurate record keeping.  Develop and track the accomplishment of an Annual Training Plan with specific training requirements and personnel proficiency goals required to sustain the Maintenance Department.  As a minimum, the training plan must identify qualification requirements (number and type of QARs and CDIs, number of personnel qualified as Plane Captains, Paint and Final Finish, etc.) and required quotas for training courses.  Publish an electronic or hardcopy Monthly Personnel Plan, Monthly Maintenance Plan (MPP/MMP).  The (MPP/MMP) may contain reports downloaded from ASM, FLTMPS, and other databases. 
  • The MPP will include: Schedule of command-held maintenance training in-service training required for their rate/MOS and pay grade, recurring training requirements; NAMP Indoctrination; NAVOSH training, etc.  MMP will contain monthly Equipment and Aircraft maintenance requirements.
  • Schedule courses and maintain licenses for Support Equipment and forklifts
  • Schedule and maintain medical readiness
  • Screen incoming records for accuracy, required inspections and Technical Directives
  • Submit all required reports in a timely manner, prior to deadlines set forth by instructions.
  • Correct discrepancies as required to ensure accurate record keeping.  
  • Update and maintain Auto Logsets records as needed in accordance with applicable technical direction (commercial and military application).
  • Provide data input to applicable databases, as required to maintain accurate record keeping.
  • Screen Work Orders (WO) for completeness accuracy IAW 4790.2 series.
  • Ensure system security, database integrity and configuration management are maintained.
  • Schedule of confirmed formal courses and attendees.
  • Interface with customer, as needed concerning maintenance training issues and assist in developing corrective action plans. 
  • Provide data input to applicable databases, as required.
  • Train employees as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Requires an active Secret clearance
  • Must be willing to work any shift, and overtime as needed
  • Must have experience with NALCOMIS Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) and Advanced System Management (ASM) systems
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

 

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Previous Logs and Records experience
  • Lean Six-Sigma previous experience and/or Greenbelt
  • Experience with compliance to NAVAIRIST 3710.1G, DCMA INST 8210, and/or CNAFINST 4790
  • Must be an effective communicator and possess strong motivational skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Must have a functional knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

 

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $79,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
