Job Description:

This role will support three buildings for L3Harris.  Two buildings in Plano and one building in Richardson.  Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Facilities structure maintenance (doors, windows, furniture, etc.)
• Repairing / replacing electrical lighting, plugs, and switches. 
• Adjusting HVAC controls for air flow and temperature changes. 
• Minor plumbing repairs. 
• Moving and setting up offices.
• Setting up conference rooms for meetings
• Monthly Equipment PM / Inspections
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Must be able to work on lifts and ladders, lift over 50 pounds, and work in extreme temperature and high humidity conditions either inside or outside the building as necessary.
• Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR
• 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Existing US Security Clearance
• LOTO Training
• Knowledge of MES controls system
• Electrician (Journeyman / Master)
• Experience working in a manufacturing / Office environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
