About the role
As an integral member of the Inventory Management Support team, this role is responsible for providing logistics support across a range of L3Harris projects, standing offers, and service activities related to the freight, distribution, and management of communications equipment and associated accessories.
In this role, you will perform both physical and administrative tasks associated with the receipt, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting operational efficiency, and delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment. You will contribute to a positive workplace culture that values inclusion, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What role will involve
- Unpack and inspect incoming goods, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods and identify or reject non-conforming items where required.
- Perform manual handling tasks involving loads up to 16kg.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments and maintain accurate records of stock dispatches.
- Receive, stock, store, and distribute inventory materials and equipment.
- Conduct equipment CES checks and support preliminary stock investigations and CES breakdown activities as required.
- Complete and update inventory transactions within electronic inventory management systems.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse and inventory processes.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the ISC Warehouse Supervisor.
What you’ll bring
- Current Australian NV1 as a minimum
- License to perform high risk work: LF Forklift
- MILIS experience and profiles
- Warehouse experience
- Knowledge of material handling procedures, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Dangerous Goods qualifications (IATA/DGR)
- Quality driven with an analytical nature
- Capable of periods of autonomous work without requiring direct supervision
