Join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner, providing trusted, confidential, and strategic HR support to your client group. You’ll work closely with senior HR leaders, managers, and staff to embed HR strategies into everyday operations and deliver impactful people solutions that drive business performance.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone ready to deliver professional HR guidance, foster growth, and contribute to a strong workplace culture.
*This is a two year contract role.
What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Operational HR Support
- Manage people changes and make onboarding seamless — from inductions to new-hire support.
- Keep things running smoothly with payroll and day-to-day HR admin tasks.
- Team up with Senior HRBPs to tackle employee relations, investigations, and complex people challenges.
- Help shape our talent and succession strategies to build strong, future-ready teams.
Change Management
- Be a champion for our values, culture, and people-first mindset.
- Partner with leaders to design and roll out effective people strategies and engagement initiatives.
- Support retention efforts and help teams stay motivated during periods of change.
- Lead the people side of change — ensuring new programs, systems, and initiatives land successfully.
Employee Relations
- Make sure we’re compliant with all employment laws, policies, and best practices.
- Work alongside Senior HRBPs on workplace investigations and resolving employee concerns with care and fairness.
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- A formal qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience in a matrixed organization — you know how to navigate complexity and collaboration.
- Previous experience in the Defence industry is a plus, but strong exposure to large, international, or highly matrixed businesses will also be valued.
