As an Engineering Technician, you’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of digital and analogue radio assemblies to ensure our customers receive fully serviceable equipment on time. This hands-on role blends technical precision with problem-solving, working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic maintenance environment.

 

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Carry out efficient and precise product diagnostics across RF, digital, and analogue circuits.
  • Accurately collect and record diagnostic data and findings.
  • Provide feedback to management and engineering teams to enhance diagnostic processes and tools.
  • Mentor and assist test station operators and peers to strengthen team capability.
  • Uphold quality standards and compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Deliver customer-facing support, including diagnostic services to end users.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and contribute to weekly operational reporting.

 

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following experience and skills:

  • Current Australian NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum or ability to obtain.
  • Minimum Certificate III in an applicable technical trade.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong teamwork, coaching, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proactive ownership of tasks, with ability to lead problem resolution and drive quality.
