We’re looking for a professional and proactive Administrator to join our team at the Regional Support Centre (RSC) in Pinkenba. In this key front-of-house role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and government representatives—representing L3Harris with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence.

 

As a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll provide vital administrative and coordination support to the L3Harris Communications team. Working across multiple business functions, you’ll help ensure smooth daily operations while contributing to an efficient and positive workplace environment.

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

Reception

  • Manage the front desk—answer calls, schedule appointments, and greet visitors.
  • Handle enquiries promptly and professionally, including Helpdesk and meeting room bookings.
  • Coordinate mail, couriers, and general kitchen duties.
  • Provide reception cover for the Hamilton office when needed.

Administration

  • Maintain office supplies and support meeting and event logistics.
  • Assist with staff onboarding and My.Work My.Reward access management.
  • Coordinate HR interviews and update group email/distribution lists.
  • Process invoices and make travel arrangements.
  • Record minutes for RSC operations meetings and complete other ad hoc admin tasks.

 

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar administrative or reception role.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in a matrixed organisation is highly regarded.
  • Background in the Defence industry preferred, though experience in a complex, international business environment will be considered.
  • Strong computer skills in MS office suite
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA).
