Overview
This requisition is contingent upon L3Harris winning the Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Services in Support of Presidential Helicopter contract.
The anticipated date of Contract Award is 2025 with an anticipated start date of Fall/Winter 2025.
The location for the performance of this program is Patuxent River, MD. Employee must be located on site.
Description:
- Identify the training requirements of maintenance technicians and collaborate with leadership to determine specific skill gaps and areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training materials that address identified needs of the maintenance team, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and technicians' requirements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments based on evaluation results to ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and allocate funds appropriately to various training initiatives while tracking expenses.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices to ensure that training programs are designed to improve the technical skills, productivity, and quality of work of maintenance technicians.
- Must maintain a process to manage training currencies and qualifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance or training position, of which three (3) years’ experience directly related to Naval systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge in training and aircraft maintenance expertise.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance in accordance with the NISPOM codifying 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, NISPOM Rule.
- Must be able to satisfy personnel security requirements for Yankee White access in accordance with the DoD Directive 5210.55 (Presidential Support Program) and DoD Instruction 5210.87 (Selection of DoD Military and Civilian Personnel and Contractor Employees for Assignment to Presidential Support Activities).
- A government requisite pre-screening checklist will be requested from all applicants being considered.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $94,000 MIN - $174,000 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
