Job Description:

We are seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Configuration Manager to support a Linux-based environment. Candidate should have substantive experience with Atlassian Tools, Gitlab, AWS environments and be able to work effectively across software and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance and possess or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification or higher. Work to be performed on Patrick Space Force Base.  Periodic commute to L3Harris office in Melbourne may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain Configuration Management processes for mission software, algorithms, infrastructure, and associated technical artifacts throughout their lifecycle.
• Establish, maintain, and control software and algorithm baselines, including versioning, revision history, release packages, approvals, traceability, and configuration status accounting.
• Coordinate and manage controlled software and algorithm deliveries into Development Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), and operational environments.
• Develop and administer the DT/OT governance process, including entry and exit criteria, test readiness, discrepancy tracking, configuration identification, approvals, and release-to-operations decisions.
• Maintain authoritative configuration records identifying which software versions, algorithms, capabilities, and supporting components are approved for each environment.
• Manage the sensor onboarding process, including tracking candidate sensors, onboarding status, technical prerequisites, interfaces, configuration information, test progression, approvals, and operational readiness.
• Work closely with software engineers, algorithm developers, systems engineers, test personnel, mission leads, infrastructure teams, and Government customers to ensure configuration changes are properly documented, reviewed, tested, approved, and deployed.
• Facilitate or support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), release readiness reviews, test readiness reviews, and other configuration or deployment decision forums.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, software releases, algorithm revisions, sensor configurations, test results, defects, waivers, and operational deployments.
• Use GitLab, Atlassian tools, and other automated systems to manage configuration records, change requests, release artifacts, workflows, and approvals.
• Provide daily customer support and act as a Configuration Management focal point for mission teams requiring access, release, configuration, onboarding, or deployment assistance.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.

• Active TS/SCI clearance or Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Security+ Certification or any DOD IAT Level II Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of start.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge and practical application of Configuration Management principles, processes, and industry standards
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management systems and automated business tools, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and related applications Substantive experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.
• Relevant Configuration Management experience in an engineering environment is preferred
