Title:  Project Manager, Level 4

Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our MPES Services team in Panama City, FL. The project manager will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.

Essential Functions:

• Plans, directs, coordinates and budgets materials and man-hours for shipyard project. 
• Communicates with supervisors on personnel requirements concerning the alteration, repair or maintenance of ships and ship’s systems.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Manager shipyard new construction or ship repair.
• Work with corporate finance, government contracts, material procurement, customer relations in conjunction with project management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have five (5) years supervisory experience with electrical, structural, or mechanical Navy shipboard repair, modernization, and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of the NAVSEA Standard Items, complex blueprints, drawings and contractual requirements.
• Familiar with standard practices, processes and materials necessary to perform ship repair, modernization, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, technical manuals, design notices, etc.
• Familiarity with the Deltek/ Costpoint system and other Microsoft computer programs.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excell, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
