Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a dynamic technologist to drive development and execution of our Quantum, Nanosystems and Advanced Products business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and evaluating new technical opportunities, aligning business objectives with engineering capabilities, and overseeing the commercialization and deployment of innovative solutions. Proficiency in all aspects of the systems engineering process, extensive experience in designing and testing complex systems, and the ability to effectively coordinate teams of technical personnel are essential. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions and make a significant impact within the Intel & Cyber sector.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the engineering, development and execution of the division’s Quantum, Nanosystems and Advanced Products growth strategy, aligning business objectives with technical capabilities.
- Identify and evaluate new technical opportunities, and drive the commercialization and deployment of Quantum, Nanosystems and Advanced Products.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with key stakeholders, and represent the company at industry conferences and technical events.
- Oversee technical market research, competitive analysis, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for engineering initiatives, and deliver technical presentations to leadership.
- Develop technical go-to-market strategies, secure funding opportunities, and form strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations.
- Advocate for the company's technical vision and strategy, staying updated on trends and advancements in Quantum & Nanosystems technology.
- Serve on the sector’s leadership team as the senior technical point of contact to assist in red team reviews and technical roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, physics, or a related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Must have current and active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
- Prior or current professional experience in Quantum, Advanced Photonic, and Nanosystem principles and applications
- Professional experience leading technical teams to achieve business and customer goals
- Professional experience with business proposal efforts

- Experience pursuing new business with USG and International customers
- Knowledge of Quantum Computing, Algorithms, Networks, and Sensing
- Knowledge of Nanosystems: Photonics, Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs), Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS), and Microelectronics
- Experience with intellectual property management
