Job Description:

  • Lead a team of diverse property professionals at multiple sites across the Segment that provides asset management customer service to the SAS Segment in support of the objectives of Government Compliance
  • Ensure property guidance and training is available to assigned personnel on the application of business system processes, interpretation of laws and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other government and company compliance requirements
  • Oversee and supervise the preparation of asset management reports, financial reports, physical inventory reports and results, self-assessment results and any additional reports as required
  • Analyze the asset portfolio to identify areas for potential re-utilization or increased utilization of assets to reduce capital expenditures
  • Develop staffing plans for the department to ensure availability of property professionals necessary to support Government property needs
  • Improve upon existing Property policies and procedures, ensuring they meet the intent of the FAR, DFARS, DCMA Guidebook and other customer requirements.
  • Conduct briefings to Senior leaders on the status of the property business system at different CAGE codes

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 12 years prior related experience.  Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.  In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge in interpreting contractual requirements related to Government property management including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, DFARS property management clauses, DCMA Guidebook and other regulations
  • Experience in strategic asset management, asset inventories and effective data management, asset management capability building and maturity
  • Experience in managing and delivering large scale projects and development of asset management policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain management, Contracts management and finance concepts
  • Demonstrated experience working in a repair or depot facility used to track Government property
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department teams or manage across the property function
  • Extensive problem-solving skills with the ability to understand the root cause of the problem and develop a corrective action plan
  • Data analysis skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables
  • Experience working with National Defense Industry Association (NDIA)
  • Certified Property Professional Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
  • Familiarity with Sunflower asset tracking system
  • Basic understanding of other Contractor Business Systems, CAS 410 & Disclosure Statements
