L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. Essential Functions:

• Generate and manage system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using requirements management tools such as DOORS, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the lifecycle
• Review new or delta requirements and decompose them into the L3Harris system baseline.
• Maintain bi-directional traceability between customer requirements, system requirements, subsystem requirements, and verification artifacts.
• Support Technical Performance Measure (TPM) deliveries and related systems engineering products.
• Prepare content for design reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), including technical data packages, status material, and supporting analysis.
• Create and maintain verification matrices and support system verification and validation activities, including selected verification by analysis efforts.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines, program management, customers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and support program execution.
• Apply strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills to foster teamwork and drive technical closure on complex issues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience, OR graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Proven experience applying systems engineering principles and practices across the development lifecycle.
• Experience preparing for and supporting design reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and technical interchange meetings.
• Test and Integration experience
• RF and SATCOM communications experience
