Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer / Integration & Test Engineer with experience integrating and testing complex network systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for integration of customized software and hardware in a quick paced, engineering oriented environment. This Engineer will maintain development, test and production environments while integrating new technologies and maintaining system stability and integrity by way of Dev-OPS concepts. This position requires system level testing including the ability to turn manual test cases into automation using the program's selected framework.
The Engineer will work mostly independently, under limited supervision, collaborating with developers and program leadership to identify and capture defects, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues while ensuring conformance of products to specifications. This position will require excellent critical thinking skills to debug, analyze, including verifying that products meet functional and performance requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test, including loading custom and commercial software onto multiple systems.
- Support design, development, automate and implementation of systems and procedures across multiple air-gapped networks.
- Builds, configures, troubleshoots, and integrate new and existing software packages to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
- Define, design and execute system level test events (create plans, procedures, and reports) within a TS environment.
- Execute software test (User Interface) to hardware (embedded) test, including automation using python and SOAP.
- Responsible for network configuration including routers, switches, and other hardware.
- Supports Dev-Ops concepts and implementation.
- Ability to take ownership of projects through completion.
- Create and update automation scripts using python.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA (or equivalent) in Optical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, and minimum 4-6 years Software or systems experience or Graduate’s degree and 2-4 years software or systems experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10-13 years of prior military or related experience.
- TS/SCI W/ Poly Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

- Engineering principles, especially verification/validation.
- Self-motivated individual and demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Direct experience interfacing with customer personnel and leadership
- Demonstrated ability and desire to learn from self-training as well as via transfer of experience and technique.
- Demonstrated humble, leadership in small, diverse team, fast paced environment.
- Strong communication ability: verbal and written using MS Word and PowerPoint
- Experience communicating and presenting complex technical issues to various audiences (technical counterparts, program management, customer leadership, etc.)
- Strong ability to develop and manipulate MS Excel
- Proficient use of LabView and/or MATLAB for analysis and scripting
