Job Description: 

L3Harris is seeking a detail-driven security professional with strong expertise in Industrial security and practical working knowledge of physical security. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and safeguarding secure environments by leading physical security oversight for ICD-705 upgrade projects. You’ll collaborate across departments and with external partners to clarify and translate customer physical security requirements into streamlined operational practices.  You’ll identify opportunities to strengthen systems and processes, recommending smart enhancements that improve efficency and protect critical assets. With a focus on achieving project goals and advancing departmental performance, you’ll help drive results that elevate both security standards and operational excellence. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Support Industrial Security and Physical Security Operations under general supervision
  • Perform semi-annual physical security inspections
  • Provide technical guidance on physical security standards for Collateral/SAP/SCI facilities
  • Parepare and share drawings, specifications, and documentation with internal and external stakeholders
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area
  • Coordinate and communicate with customer representatives
  • Manage projects and review work products when assigned
  • Recommend and implement moderate process or system improvements
  • Solve problems using prior experience and an understanding of related job areas
  • Requires ability to travel approx. 5-10% 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • US security clearance at the TS level with a CI poly 

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Ability to interpret construction plans/blueprints and construction specifications
  • Have received formal training in ICD-705 and Tempesting practices
  • CDSE/SPeD certifications
  • ISP certification
  • Working knowledge of ICD-705 regulations/requirements
  • Working knowledge of Tempesting requirements/practice
  • May have practical knowledge of project management and construction
