Job Description:

We are seeking a subject matter expert with deep expertise in contract management and a strong understanding of the broader job area. This role is responsible for managing large, complex contracts that are critical to the organization, operating with minimal supervision. The position involves cross-functional communication and collaboration, influencing changes to existing practices, processes, and approaches. The ideal candidate will drive meaningful improvements in systems, processes, and products, contribute to the development of new solutions, and execute operational plans that deliver measurable results across the business or function.

Essential Functions:
•    Responsible for RFP review and risk assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts/programs.
•    Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the respective customers.
•    Provides a proactive voice in the business process.
•    Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
•    Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•    Prepares bids and proposals.
•    Prepares and conducts negotiations.
•    Processes specifications, progress report, and other reports.
•    Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently.
•    Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
•    Ability to multi-task and determine priorities while working on multiple assignments.
•    Dedication to meet customer deadlines• Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions with commercial and US Government customers.
•    Conducts change management process with internal team and communicate equitable adjustment rights to customers.
•    Utilizes contract sales order system to record contract awards and modifications.
•    Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
•    Compiles and analyzes data as required Maintains historical information for assigned contracts.
•    Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
•    Active Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:
•    Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS.
•    Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
•    Negotiation experience.
•    Demonstrated business acumen/finance experience.
•    Demonstrated ability to build relationships.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
