Job Description:

 

This position will focus on our Digital Transformation strategy within the L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment. SAS is a leading provider of full mission solutions as a prime and subsystem integrator in the Space, Airborne, and Cyber domains. Businesses within SAS provide top-tier capabilities in the design, development, integration, production, and sustainment of major weapons systems for defense primes and national security, civil government, and international customers. This Senior Principal Program Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and providing leadership for the execution of the Space and Airborne (SAS) segment’s Digital Transformation (DT) strategy. This individual will facilitate coordination across segment, corporate, and all functions to ensure project plans, roadmaps, partnerships, commitments, and communications meet segment business needs. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are regularly complex, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple areas of the organization. This position will have a direct interface with customers, suppliers, and stakeholder leadership. The role includes responsibility for guiding L3Harris’ employees in their work and influencing them to deliver their best and to act within the L3Harris corporate values.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Management of segment executive committee cadence and reporting
• Management of segment steering committee cadence and reporting
• Interpretation and conveyance of changes, shifts in strategy, and general updates from segment and corporate leadership
• Development, alignment, and flow down of digital strategy and goals including cross-functional integration
• Coordination of input, collaboration, and convergence with other business segments
• Participation in supplier/partnership engagements and negotiations
• Review of documentation and information for sensitivity and strategic importance prior to external sharing
• Review of key messaging, status updates, and communications prior to internal/employee distribution
• Decision making and prioritization authority across segment transformation projects

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
