This role offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with executive leadership on the issues that matter most to the business, including workforce strategy, organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and change leadership. You will influence how teams are structured, developed, and supported to ensure the organization remains agile, mission-focused, and positioned for long-term growth.

In addition to executive partnership, this role will lead high-impact HR projects and strategic initiatives that provide meaningful visibility to the VP of HR and Corporate Headquarters (CHQ). The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven HR leader with strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and a proven ability to lead complex organizational work, translate insights into action, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. This is an on-site position located in Palm Bay, Florida.

Essential Functions:

• Act as the primary HR strategic advisor to multiple senior-level executives within the SMS Segment, providing consultative support on complex business, organizational, and talent matters
• Partner directly with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent strategy with business priorities, operational objectives, and long-range growth plans
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and change management to build organizational capability and future-ready teams
• Lead and execute high-impact HR projects and strategic initiatives at the segment level, with visibility to the VP of HR and Corporate Headquarters (CHQ)
• Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable business outcomes
• Analyze workforce data, trends, and metrics to generate actionable insights, inform executive decision-making, and develop recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness and business performance
• Develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, and metrics that translate HR data into compelling business narratives and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
• Lead talent management and succession initiatives, including identifying, assessing, and developing high-potential talent to strengthen leadership pipelines and organizational readiness
• Design and implement targeted development strategies for critical roles and key talent to support continuity, growth, and long-term capability building
• Drive staffing and workforce plans to ensure the organization has the talent, structure, and capabilities needed to deliver results
• Lead and influence organizational change and transformation efforts that enhance agility, collaboration, and performance in a dynamic environment
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, compensation, engagement, retention, and other sensitive organizational matters with sound judgment and discretion
• Collaborate with Corporate HR, Segment HR Centers of Excellence, Sector HR, and cross-functional partners to advance best practices and deliver innovative, business-focused HR solutions
• Demonstrate strong ownership, proactive leadership, and executive presence in advancing people strategies that support mission success and growth objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience in complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated success serving as a strategic HR advisor to senior executives on organizational, talent, and business priorities
• Strong business and HR acumen, with the ability to connect people strategy to operational goals, long-range plans, and measurable business outcomes
• Experience leading or advising on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and change management initiatives
• Proven ability to use workforce data, metrics, and analytics to identify trends, develop insights, and influence executive decision-making
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and address complex organizational challenges with sound judgment
• Track record of delivering on commitments, driving accountability, and producing measurable impact across the business
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility at all levels of the organization
• Experience coaching, influencing, and supporting executive-level leaders through talent, organizational, and employee-related matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues, performance matters, and confidential business information with professionalism and discretion
