As an essential member of the L3Harris Contracts Team, you will be responsible for a comprehensive suite of functions that ensure the success and integrity of our contract management process. This role includes:
• With moderate supervisions, conduct in-depth RFP analysis, identify risks, and craft compelling proposals in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
• Aligning contracts with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations.
• Developing competitive bids and proposals tailored to customer needs and organizational objectives.
• Supporting contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and an executable business deal are reached.
• Managing the contract administration process for optimal support of internal and external customers.
• Serving as the liaison between L3Harris and customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Working with cross functional teams to evaluate performance costs, performance, and delivery schedules to ensure contract accuracy and completeness.
• Working closely with internal and external customers to manage the change processes in dynamic environments, to preserve our rights for adjustments.
• Demonstrating and developing independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proactively contributing strategic insights to business operations for continuous execution and improvement.
• Building strong relationships and enhancing team dynamics.
• Prioritizing tasks with urgency to meet multiple deadlines and customer commitments.
• Advising management on contractual rights and obligations to protect company interests.
• Maintaining detailed records for all contracts managed.
• Clearly presenting information to various stakeholders, including management.
Qualifications:
• Security Clearance: A Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain, is required for this position.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Skillsets:
• Regulatory Expertise: Has a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), ensuring compliance and strategic guidance in complex contractual environments.
