Job Description:
The Program Management Excellence (PMX) team within the Maritime Sector is looking to fill a Functional Lead role. The successful candidate should be an experienced Program Manager and/or Supply Chain Manager who is well-versed in People, Process, and Tools best practices within the Aerospace & Defense industry. The successful candidate will serve as the enabler for Supply Chain execution across all programs in the sector. The candidate must be able to lead cross-functionally with the other members of the Maritime PMX staff, Supply Chain functional partners and the sector’s IPTs to drive predictable program performance.
Essential Functions:
- Drive and support predictable performance across all sector programs for the Supply Chain function
- Partner with program, other IPT members with Supply Chain function to support ensure executable baseline plan (cost and schedule)
- Drive and support program baseline planning for the Supply Chain function
- Manage Division CAM training for the Supply Chain function
- Partner with program, IPT members with the Supply Chain function to ensure Supply Chain IPT lead / CAM excellence
- Serve as and IPT support member and advocate for Supply Chain functional initiatives within sector programs
- Assist and support the function for Gate and Independent Reviews for the sector
- Drive program R&O management for the Supply Chain function
- Support Supply Chain with EAC/ETC development, review, and approval
- Support the program, IPT and Supply Chain function for preperation of various sector and division reviews
- Reensure Supply Chain policy and process requirements are applied within programs
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Coordinates and adjudicates PMX support priorities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience
- or post-graduate degree and 10 years of experience
- or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
- 10+ years of prior experience in Aerospace & Defense program management, Supply Chain management and EVMS
- Demonstrated ability to present to executives/management on important topics
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, identify problems and propose solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, across geographically-dispersed teams
- Ability to Travel at least 15%
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
- Prior experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Prior experience managing direct reports
- Prior experience providing instructional training to program team(s)
- Ability to Travel – up to 50%
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $130K-$242K. For California, New Jersey, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $150-$278K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
