Job Description:

This role is a first-shift Calibration Lab Delivery Driver responsible for the safe and timely transportation of assets between company locations and the Calibration Lab throughout Brevard County.

The position will travel to various company sites to pick up assets requiring calibration and deliver them to the Calibration Lab. Once calibration is complete, the employee will coordinate and deliver the calibrated assets back to the appropriate locations. The position will also support the Calibration Lab with asset tracking, documentation, shipping, and delivery preparation.

The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license, a clean and acceptable driving record, and be able to successfully complete a background check. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and the ability to reliably manage multiple deliveries and asset movements.

Essential Functions:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and background check
• Creates reports for front office and back office staff including logistics and asset status reports.
• Supports customer communications.
• Manage asset calibration work orders.
• Prepare asset pick-up/drop-off reports and prep delivery.
• Manage MetTeam asset status as assets get picked up and delivered.
• Deliver Calibrated Assets to appropriate location across multiple sites throughout Brevard.
• Update lab changes in Met/Team calibration database.
• Create shippers and deliver assets to shipping.
• Work with other departments to find the right solution for an asset disposition.
• Must have strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Must be responsible and dependable

Qualifications:

• Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
