Essential Functions:

•    Lead the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of complex electronic manufacturing processes for high-reliability, low-volume, high-mix space electronic assemblies.
•    Serve as the in-house SMT and ruggedization process expert, with direct hands-on experience in surface mount technology, selective solder, cleanliness, ruggedization and offline processes.
•    Define, optimize, and control manufacturing processes including SMT, hand soldering, CCA cleaning, ruggedization, and offline operations.
•    Develop process documentation (e.g., work instructions, visual aids, travelers, and control plans).
•    Identify and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma-based process improvements to improve yield, throughput, and reliability.
•    Drive best practices in equipment setup, operator utilization, and fixture/tooling design for manufacturing scalability.
