Job Description: 

Space and Airborne Systems is growing rapidly and taking on increasing prime level responsibilities in Space, Airborne Combat Systems, Intel & Cyber, and Mission Networks domains. Our subcontracting team is leveling up to take on more complex subcontract management responsibility to help drive a sustainable competitive advantage and accelerate the delivery of cutting-edge capability to the warfighter. The Subcontracts Process Integrator plays a pivotal role in the SAS Subcontracts Functional Homeroom, which is charged with elevating our subcontracting capabilities to meet the demands of rapid growth and increased prime level responsibilities. This individual is key in harmonizing subcontract processes across SAS, ensuring they are streamlined, effective, and fully integrated with the organization's strategic objectives. They spearhead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements, standardize best practices, and facilitate the adoption of innovative tools and systems. Working closely with functional and cross-functional teams, they enhance the efficiency and quality of the subcontract lifecycle, while also managing risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. By driving process integration and continuous improvement, they significantly contribute to the homeroom's mission of achieving Subcontracts Excellence and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.  

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Subject matter expert of L3Harris and SAS Subcontracts policies, procedures, systems, and tools. 
  • Develop, refine, and enforce uniform subcontracting key processes to enhance operational consistency and efficiency. 
  • Integrate subcontracting strategies with organizational objectives, ensuring seamless alignment with business growth. 
  • Foster collaboration functionally and cross-functionally to streamline the subcontract lifecycle and improve performance. 
  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and systems to modernize subcontract management practices and improve team capabilities. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Experience leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to refine subcontracting processes. 
  • Effectively navigate matrix organizations effectively, influencing outcomes and driving performance across various teams. 
  • Advanced analytical skills to assess subcontract performance, identify improvement opportunities, and inform strategic decisions. 
  • Experience managing and facilitating organizational change, ensuring new processes are adopted smoothly and effectively.
