Job Description: 
The Lead, Semiconductor & Advanced Packaging Facilities Engineering position is an on-site role based in Brevard County, FL. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing all facilities-related aspects of the Semiconductor FAB project. Key responsibilities include overseeing building projects and renovations, negotiating with contractors and service providers, and ensuring that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

This is a highly collaborative, matrixed role that requires close coordination with Equipment Engineering, Operations Engineering, the Site Operations Manager, EH&S, and external contractors. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all site facilities.

Essential Functions:
•    Serve as the Project Manager for facility refurbishments, renovations, and modernization efforts.
•    Manage the full project lifecycle—from initial concept through final customer handover—ensuring quality, timelines, and budget targets are met.
•    Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Partner with Procurement to develop statements of work (SOWs), solicit bids, and manage external vendors and contractors for specialized services; negotiate contracts to ensure best-value pricing.
•    Act as site representative and escort during agency inspections (e.g., Fire Department, elevator, roof, sling & hoist, city inspections).
•    Oversee and operate the site’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including preventive maintenance, service requests, and energy management systems.
•    Possess strong knowledge of construction methods (e.g., design-build vs. lump sum), site operations, scheduling, safety protocols, and bidding processes.
•    Maintain working knowledge of key building systems including structural, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility infrastructure.


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years of prior related experience.
•    Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:
•    Active TS/SCI security clearance preferred.
•    Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing facility systems and maintenance practices.
•    Six years of supervisory or management experience.
•    Proven ability in project management and project execution, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
•    Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
•    Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and process improvement.
•    Committed to delivering efficient, timely, and customer-focused service.
•    Comfortable presenting technical and operational information to various audiences.
•    Proficient in drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
•    Experience with secure construction requirements, including ICD 705 standards.
•    Familiarity with Archibus or other move management software platforms.
