Job Description:  

We are seeking an experienced SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) Engineer to support Electro-Hardware, System Integration and Test (SI&T), and requirements-based verification. This role develops verification approaches and plans, derives Special Test Equipment (STE) requirements, creates test threads, and executes conformance testing of unit-under-test interfaces against MBSE system descriptions and requirements.

  • Manage new product development and engineering projects, including vendor coordination and project team meetings.
  • Report on Electro-Mechanical project status and milestones.
  • Plan, conduct, and evaluate testing activities and results.
  • Ensure all design activities comply with internal and external specifications and standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation and engineering deliverables.
  • Design and execute verification test protocols and reports for hardware/firmware, including novel operating methods.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop verification and validation protocols and test reports.
  • Troubleshoot test systems, including software code, electronics, and mechanical hardware.
  • Utilize LabView and TestStand software packages for test development and execution.
  • Manage test system upgrades, improvements, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Operate within established quality management and approval systems.

 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Configure, set up, and document hardware and software systems under test.
  • Procure equipment to support system builds and develop comprehensive supporting documentation, including drawing trees, parts lists, and interconnect diagrams.
  • Execute test procedures and troubleshoot components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems.
  • Develop and complete test documentation, procedures, and manufacturing build documents.
  • Conduct qualification and system-level testing.
  • Operate, verify, and maintain test sets and test equipment.
  • Lead and execute software integration and testing activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with Systems Engineering principles, particularly verification and validation methodologies.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience interfacing with customer personnel and leadership at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn through self-directed training and knowledge transfer from experienced team members.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead small, diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including technical counterparts, program management, and customer leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Proficient in LabView and/or MATLAB for analysis, scripting, and automation.
  • Comfortable working in production manufacturing environments.
