Job Description:
L3Harris Corporation is seeking a Specialist, System Integration & Test Engineer to support RF Testing operations for a Communication Systems portfolio of program in Brevard County, Florida. Essential Functions:
- Develop, analyze, and execute test plans: Update and implement testing procedures to validate performance, evaluate results against design criteria, durability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues identified during testing. Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with design, production, and project management teams to define testing requirements and interpret test results.
- Document and report: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including test reports, procedures, and specifications. Communicate results to stakeholders.
- Integrating and testing critical RF receive/transmit components and RF/Antenna assemblies into systems.
- Support all phases of the product life cycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation, and delivery).
- Coordinating, and participating in all internal approvals for any Integration and Test deliverables that are required by the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Ability to read, interpret and edit engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires proficient knowledge of job area. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of Integration and Test related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards and procedures (temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, altitude, etc.).
- Experience with ground communication networks and associated infrastructure.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for complex technical systems.
- Hardware Integration and Test experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office® applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
