Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies, Inc is seeking an Inventory Management Support team member who will be responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks related to inventory control, shipping, receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment across site locations. This role supports receiving operations, resolves routine discrepancies, completes internal deliveries using a box truck, and provides customer support while ensuring compliance with company procedures, transportation regulations, hazardous material requirements, and Environmental Health and Safety standards. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and possess or obtain a CDL Class A or B.

Essential Functions:

• Unload freight carriers and sort material into the appropriate process flows
• Scan, track, and run reports in product tracking software to quickly and efficiently locate material
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to complete internal site-to-site deliveries safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Use MRP systems to receive material through a three-way match approach to ensure conformance
• Receive production material on the same day to meet service level agreements and support program delivery schedules
• Generate Receiving Discrepancy Reports for non-conforming material using the Receiving Inspection Distribution System to ensure process compliance
• Coordinate with Procurement and Material Management to resolve receiving discrepancies and prevent production delays
• Distribute internal deliveries to end users using a delivery van
• Perform material research across multiple systems to resolve in-person and digital customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Coordinate with end users by email or phone to confirm drop-off locations, gather point-of-contact information, and notify the internal distribution team for delivery
• Build and prepare pallets for internal distribution to stockrooms/end users at other L3Harris facilities
• Coordinate with stockroom, shipping, and transportation teams to resolve inventory discrepancies
• Perform MRP backouts to correct backend discrepancies
• Use SAP supply ordering software to receive non-production material and gather point-of-contact delivery information for the internal distribution team
• Utilize inventory management software to fill backorders in support of program timelines
• Sort and scan shipment paperwork into digital folders for compliance purposes
• Learn and apply material process flows to ensure material is routed correctly
• Use Power BI dashboards to generate reports related to receiving processes
• Operate a pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and forklift to move material after obtaining required internal certification
• Provide excellent customer service to support internal customer needs
• Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures, including HAZMAT awareness when handling chemicals or hazardous materials
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• CDL Class A or B

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, shipping database)
• Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
• Experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and MRP systems
