Job Description:

Inventory Management Support C is responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the distribution of materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Receives, unpacks, and checks incoming materials against the shop order material list.
  • Redistributes materials to required kit racks and/or workstations.
  • Coordinates transportation of work in process with production operators and planners.
  • Performs cycle counts of manufacturing floor stock as required.
  • Assists production planning by updating electronic reports on work in process.
  • Lifts heavy items and operates material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, upon internal certification.
  • Accurately picks parts for production, ensuring timely availability for assembly and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and utilizes inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Organizes and maintains the storage area for parts, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies while handling materials, participating in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting shipping activities.
  • Require the ability to push / pull using a bliss cart transporting system throughout the day.
  • Ability to stoop, crouch, bend and twist repeatedly throughout the day
  • Ability to obtain US Government Clearance

 

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior experience with meeting goals / deadlines while being able to be flexible.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using an MRP system with MES capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
