Job Description:
Organize and maintain stockroom inventory in accordance with company procedures. Responsible for receipts and issuance of inventory to both internal and external customers. Counting and verifying inventory in stockroom to ensure inventory accuracy. Any discrepancies or damages to material will be reported immediately to management. Prior stockroom or inventory control experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and work within the company parameters is essential. Capable of standing for 9 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Proficiency in using applications such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams is required. Additionally, must be flexible and willing to work in other areas to meet business needs. Ensures compliance with material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. Troubleshoots and rectify straightforward discrepancies, escalating issues as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Organize and maintain stockroom inventory according to company procedures.
- Pick and issue material to internal and external customers.
- Assist in counting and verifying material in stockroom to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Track all production and non-production material using a Product Tracking System.
- Identify and escalate problems in straightforward situations to management for resolution.
- Verify and inspect for non-conforming material in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Ability to work in other areas to help the business needs.
- Position requires the individual to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40lbs.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Prior experience in a stockroom or inventory control environment.
- Professional experience using Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
