We are seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our dynamic test and integration team supporting cutting-edge defense and space programs. In this role, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to autonomously lead complex test operations, mentor junior technicians, and drive solutions to challenging electromechanical integration problems. If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where your experience and judgment directly impact mission-critical outcomes, this is the team for you.

Essential Functions:

  • Build, modify, and integrate electromechanical assemblies, test equipment, fixtures, racks, and support tooling; support interconnect verification, wiring and termination, initial power-on, and troubleshooting to the component level
  • Read, interpret, and provide redline markups on electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, interconnect drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs); collaborate with Engineering and Quality to implement improvements and technical recommendations
  • Perform cable and wire harness fabrication, build, repair, routing, bonding, and soldering; conduct continuity checks, resistance and voltage checks, and workmanship standard corrections
  • Manage lab test asset movement, storage, and availability; maintain critical spares and consumables inventory; coordinate across internal teams to execute time-sensitive work
  • Detail-oriented management of inventory, assembly, and kitting activities to support program schedules and deliverables
  • Mentor and train lower-level technician peers, sharing technical expertise and best practices across electromechanical build and integration activities
  • Manage multiple tasks and less structured activities requiring independent judgement; may coordinate build and integration activities acting as facilitator for the program Test Engineer
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a United States (US) security clearance

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active US security clearance preferred; must have the ability to obtain a US security clearance post-start
  • Demonstrated experience in electronic test, assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field
  • Hands-on experience with cable and wire harness fabrication including soldering, bonding, and routing in a high-reliability environment
  • Experience building and integrating electronic test equipment, fixtures, and racks for space or defense programs
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and Radio Frequency (RF) analyzers
  • Experience with interconnect verification, continuity checks, and resistance and voltage measurements
  • Background with inventory management, assembly kitting, and lab asset coordination
  • Experience providing redline markups on electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
