Job Description:

 

The Manager, Project Management (Data Manager Supervisor) manages a team of specialists who create large, complex proposals with strategic importance to the SSI Division. Manager will develop, plan, and schedule data manager team tasks and outcomes. Analyze and interpret request for proposal (RFP) requirements and instructions. Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Research and analyze quality data, develop approaches to support proposal efforts. Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings. Participate in cost and quality reviews with stakeholders. Supervise Data Manager team and assist with proposal processes, training, goal setting and team development.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Act as subject matter expert on document management and configuration with comprehensive knowledge of proposal processes and defense industry conventions
• Possess a broad knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and objectives
• Manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction
• Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches
• Develop and deploy secure area processes, including security classification guides, industrial security protections, and derivative markings
• Develop new products/processes and implement operational plans that have a measurable impact on business goals
• Oversee the quality and timeliness of proposal submittals, collect and analyze quality statistics for team improvement
• Perform team status reporting internally and externally to all levels of the segment
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise
• Understand and implement the concepts/practices of data configuration, version control, and file management
• Seek out quantitative and qualitative information to solve urgent and impactful problems, often where information is difficult to obtain
• Conduct various types of investigation to understand root cause of problems
• Remain current on all program activities to ensure that the team provides a service level consistent with the financial goals of the Division/Sector
• Implement strategic goals established by leadership
• Ability to develop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals across functions and teams

 

Qualifications:

 

Must Have an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team
• Technical writing, training, or knowledgebase documentation
• Software-related training, such as Agile methods, AI tools, Power Platform, process automation, or UI/UX
• Experience or broad knowledge of server management, provisioning, or network concepts
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Strong leadership skills

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $103,500-$192,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $90,000-$167,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
